The all new Rapala TrailBlazer Slow Jig travel rod is the latest edition to our ever popular Rapala TrailBlazer series. Majority of slow jigging rods are one place which makes it troublesome to travel with. We have experienced this ourselves and decided to design a 4 piece slow jigging travel rod.
After multiple test and revisions with different prototype blanks, we finally created a well balanced 4 piece slow jigging travel rod. The entire rod is constructed with a blend of different carbon materials making the action ideal for slow jigging. By blending different materials, we achieved a rod that is well balanced, light weight, sensitive and durable for working slow jigs and fighting fish in deep waters. This moderate action rod is more than capable to turn-over slow jigs up to 300g at depth. At 6'6" and rated to a maximum line rating of PE 2.5, the Rapala TrailBlazer Slow Jig travel rod will cover most slow jigging situations.
